Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick: The Balancing Act™ – Women’s Conference Overview
Please join us for Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick™ The 2nd Annual “The Balancing Act” Women’s Conference, hosted by The International Holistic Center in partnership with the Women’s International Holistic Council. The Conference focuses on giving women the tools and resources to achieve a healthy work-life balance by providing a day of personal and professional development, inspiration, and networking. This extraordinary all-day event will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013, from 8am to 6pm at the Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are proud to announce that Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick™ The 2nd Annual “The Balancing Act” Women’s Conference has been accepted to be part of the State of Florida’s 500 year anniversary celebration and we listed on the Viva Florida 500’s website as a partner. This great honor allows us to be highlighted in the United States as well as around the globe.
The main focus of the conference is women’s health, but our program will also feature speakers with expertise on other subjects that really matter to women, such as anti-aging, business, finances, fashion, sex, relationships and family.
Each year a portion of the proceeds will be donated to our charity partner, The Women’s International Holistic Council, a philanthropic foundation that supports other selected non-profit organizations whose mission is to empower women and/or children. Additionally, we have a line-up of exhibitors that are also in tune with women and their needs.
Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick™ “The Balancing Act” Women’s Conference was launched on July 13, 2012 as a direct result of Dr. Elizabeth King and Yvonne Haase, both psychotherapists at International Holistic Center (IHC), seeing an increasing number of professional women coming to IHC emotionally and physically broken down due to the high demands placed on them as they tried to do it all. Dr. King and Ms. Haase wanted to offer women effective solutions and resources for success. Last year the conference was sold out and women left asking for more. On that day, the movement for women’s health, wealth, happiness and purpose began and continues 365 days a year with effective programs to support women.
