James Daniel Hardy, a New Orleans native, began his journey by enrolling into Culver Military Academy in Indiana, which prepared him for joining the United States Army. Upon graduation in 2008, Dan chose to further his education at the University of Tampa. UT provided him with the opportunity to work in a physiology lab featuring state of the art equipment, and he learned how exercise and nutrition affect the body on a cellular level. Dan graduated college with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and a Minor in Military History.
In 2012, the U.S. Army promoted Dan to 2nd Lieutenant, sending him to Fort Leonard Wood to become a branch qualified Engineer Officer. He then took command as the Platoon Leader of the 477th Engineer Platoon in West Palm Beach, Fl. Eager to build his civilian career, he traveled to Fort Lauderdale to seek opportunity. Since then, Dan has worked with some of the top professionals in the field. Today, Daniel Hardy is a First Lieutenant and an Elite Fitness Specialist with the determination to “put the science back into fitness.”
